My 2000 Toyota 4runner has thrown a shift solenoid malfunction. Should the torque converter be changed also?
The transmission expert recommends changing the torque converter and changing out the shift solenoids. Do we really need to change the torque converter when the code was for a shift solenoid malfunction?
