Will getting a cold air intake help?

I have a 2011 camaro v6 and i was looking into cold air intakes by K&N so far what iv'e gotten is that it will provide about 15 more hp and 12 more torque, and i slight increase in fuel economy. For 250 bucks that doesn't seem like a bad deal. Is there any cons that i'm not considering or is this just a all pro upgrade. Also i was curious will it provide me with better ac or faster cooling of the car
