Why does the force required to rotate a body decreases when the distance is increased ???

as much as linear translation is direct result of force, the angular translation is direct result of moment and not force. now, for same mass of body to roatate at the same angular speed, you need less force when the radius of orbit is increased because the moment(torque) remainig same and disatnce increased, the force must be less.
